Dr. Mo Therese Hannah

I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Arizona, Tucson, in 1990. I completed pre-doctoral internships at La Frontera Community Mental Health Center in Tucson and at the University of California, Los Angeles Neuropsychiatric Institute. I've worked as a Veterans Administration psychologist for two years, first at the VA Outpatient Clinic in downtown Los Angeles and then at the Northport, Long Island V.A., where I specialized in behavioral medicine.

I'm a full-time Professor of Psychology at Siena College in Loudonville, New York, where, since 1992, I've taught courses on abnormal psychology, intimate relationships, counseling theories and techniques, and other clinically-relevant courses. I was the co-founder of the Battered Mothers Custody Conference in 2003 and currently serve as its Chair; the conference is in preparation for its 13th year and will be next held in Albany, New York over the weekend of May 4th-6th, 2018.

I'm also the Editor of Family and Intimate Partner Violence Quarterly, published by Civic Research Institute. I've authored or edited a number of books, articles, and presentations revolving around the topics of intimate relationships, intimate partner abuse, child custody litigation involving domestic violence, and grief therapy. I'm an Advanced Clinician in Imago Relationship Therapy.

couples therapy, trauma, grief, and women's issues.

I am a New York State licensed psychologist practicing in Latham, New York, just outside of Albany. Educated at the doctoral level as a clinical psychologist, I have been in practice over 25 years and specialize in couples therapy, trauma and grief therapy, and women's issues.
